Enfield 4Million senior center has flooring issue.

Big Dig.. another use of public money with Government oversight.

Government employees = bottom of barrel.. period end of story. so you decide if you want free markets or Government management.
 
Well we have seen what lack of govt management ie dereguulation in the mortgage industry has brought us....

I didnt say that government should not be an oversight committed for key industries specificaly like insurance, transportation, investments, etc..

But that is different then government running things.

Didn't Bechtel/Parsons-Brinckerhoff run the Big Dig and aren't they private entities?
 
No - The Massachusetts Turnpike Authority.. Edit .. same group of 50something fat white guys who leave work at 3pm every day.
 
Chap - That's not terribly helpful. It says that the MTA managed the project but that B/P-B supervised design and construction.

it was state money and managed by the MTA.. they were ultimately responsible.

If one of my employees fucks up at work.. i am responsible since I manage him.
