Santos played the Repubs even better than Trump. He knew what kind of people are in his district and pandered to them with lies. He lies about his mother being present in the towers on 911 getting a sympathetic vote. He lied about his Israeli connections claiming a Holocaust background. He is not Jewish. There are lots of banks and investment companies in the district. He claimed he was an investment banker and he worked successfully in banking. It was a lie. He said he put his own 700,000 bucks into his campaign. He did not have that money. He was working for 50 K a year, for the last couple of years. He lied, like Trump, and the Repubs bought it.
