Bet you anything that Trump's breakup with Epstein was over money rather than illegal conduct. Epstein was, after all, a financier. No doubt he loved to "party" with the Toadstool, but being in the business of loaning and making money, he declined at some point to risk losing out because Trump is a piss-poor bankrupt business risk.
