STORY AT-A-GLANCE

•Between the documentation obtained through a recent lawsuit against the White House and the Twitter files released by Elon Musk, it’s become quite clear that every facet of the U.S. government, including its intelligence agencies, are involved in illegal and unconstitutional censorship

•We now have proof that the FBI has been acting as the key instigator and implementer of the government’s illegal censorship of Americans. The FBI has also actively interfered in multiple elections — all while inventing the narrative that foreign nations were interfering

•Twitter has worked hand in hand with the U.S. Department of Defense to aid U.S. intelligence agencies in their efforts to influence foreign governments using fake news, computerized deepfake videos and bots

•The Twitter files also reveal members of Congress have a direct line to Twitter and have had accounts suspended on their behalf and content removed at their whim

•Discovery documents from a lawsuit against the White House filed by the attorneys general of Missouri and Louisiana show at least 67 federal employees across more than a dozen agencies are also engaged in illegal censorship activities. This includes aides to President Biden, who pressured social media companies to change their policies to fit White House demands for censorship

Mercola? Well, that settles this debate quite easily. It's easy when you put the source in title but why do you keep posting from the internet sewers?

Censorship is easier for sheeple to deal with than having to debate the evidence. Legacy media spoon feeds the government narrative to their audience so they parrot it as if it were fact.

Pretty much. Though I think you might agree that censorship does the sheeple no good and it just makes it harder for them to find the truth.

Insulting a person's source without even explaining why you dislike said source doesn't contribute much to a discussion.

That's a basic tactic of leftists. Whenever they can't argue the point they attack the poster or the source and usually both.

Then why do you think the govt is engaging in censorship and referrig to anything it disagrees with as "misinformation"?

I consider myself a leftist on some issues. I've seen those on the right attack me and others as well. All this is to say that I think this goes beyond what side of the political spectrum one is on. Some people know how to contribute to a discussion, whereas others are more focused on dismissing them. The good news is that sometimes, even those who initially simply insult an article or a website may eventually get around to actually contributing something worthwhile in the discussion. It all depends on the person.

Easier to control the masses if you limit information that goes against the deep state's narrative.

Not in my dealings with most leftists on this site. There are only 3 leftists on this site with the capacity to engage in a reasonabke conversation and I have done so with each of them. Most people are entrenched in their ideas and aren't open to anything.

I couldn't agree more but too few people are able to recognize that. They buy the narrative and refuse to listen to anything but the approved messages.

Well, perhaps you can add me to the list, although I'm a bit of a hybrid. As soon as a republican gets into power again, the left will remember that government censorship is a bad thing and a lot of the right will forget. I also still remember that it was the left that was against covid vaccines when Trump was still in power, but soon flipped when Biden got in. I stay the same on issues like these regardless of what party is in power in the U.S.

Agreed. I think the trick is to not spend too much time with people like this and try to focus more on the people who are more open to changing their perspective.

Well you are showing yourself to be considered for the list but it remains an unanswered question. I certainly agree with the you that the left flipped on the vaccine when trump was president to when Brandon took over. That didn't bother me as much as their absolute refusal to acknowledge it happened.

Because that is what trolls do.

Phoenyx has started at least a dozen different threads that all rely on bullshit from Russia or the sewers of the internet.

The left found vaccines were good long before Biden won the election. They were pro-Fauci all along. The left trusts the CDC and the healthcare system.

People using social media for their news aren't really interested in news. There are plenty of creditable sources that prove several times the amount of news from any social media or television source.

To suggest the news is being censored because it is not on social media sites assumes Americans are idiots.

Corporations censor. They keep workers in line and punish those who say things they do not want out. Censorship is tried by anyone with power.
