The Trump administration is preparing to lower the recruitment standards for F.B.I. agents, eliciting alarm from many agents who worry that the move will undermine the agency’s primary mission of conducting complex investigations and tracking threats to national security.

Under a plan pushed by the director, Kash Patel, and his deputy, Dan Bongino, the F.B.I. will start welcoming new classes of recruits who will receive less training and no longer be required to have a college degree, according to people familiar with the plan who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe it.

I do not want to see lower qualifications for FBI agents?!! This agency will need to be rebuilt after the stench of the Trump administration is gone?!! This job is important for someone with a high school education?!!

  • Pass a background check
  • Pass a urinalysis
  • Be in good standing on student loan repayments
  • Be up to date on any child support payments
  • File all required annual taxes
  • Avoid involvement with organizations that aim to overthrow our government
  • Register with the Selective Service if you are male
  • Agree to adhere to the FBI’s drug use policy
To become an FBI special agent, you must meet these additional requirements:

  • Be at least 23 years of age
  • Meet additional age requirements unless you are a veteran or have worked in federal law enforcement
  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree and two years of full-time work experience or a graduate degree plus one year of full-time work experience
  • Qualify for Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance
  • Meet minimum medical and physical fitness requirements.

Lefties have done everything in their anti American-anti police bag of tricks to defund the police
and have violent riots after violent riots abusing and attacking I.C.E. agents and any other form

Who in their right mind would want to work for the FBI after all we have seen in recent years? The destruction of the FBI started in 2001.....it was run by Mueller.

There are people that have no degrees that could make great FBI agents. And there are people with degrees that should be in prison.

The younger rural farm kids aren't stupid or lazy. They understand land layout, have hinting and tracking knowledge and have a great work ethic.
They would make great FBI agents, They would be loyal, have dedicated moral ethics and be proud to defend America from all adversaries.

A lot of people with military experience would make fantastic FBI agents. A lot of morons have useless college degrees in things like anthropology or philosophy.

Yep, military training would be a great asset for FBI. College kids can learn from books and professors, but when the shit hits the fan???
