Let's call it Psalm 2009:

The politician is my shepherd – I am in want:

He maketh me to lie down on park benches.

He leadeth me beside the still factories.

He disturbeth my soul.

He leadeth me in the path of destruction for the party's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Depression,

I anticipate no recovery for he is with me.

He prepareth a reduction in my salary. In the presence of mine enemies,

He anointeth my small income with taxes: my expense runneth over.

Surely unemployment and poverty shall follow me all the days of my life.

And I shall dwell in a mortgaged house forever.
 
It just amazes me that someone who followed like a blind idiot the last eight years of republican RUIN of this country you now try to pull this clap trap off?


The destitude you speak of was created under republican complete control and you are scraping the bottom of the barrel to blame something other than the "leadership" your team provided this country.


Republicans never get the blame for anything they do in your warped mind.
 
The republicans are never at fault are they?

I say the best and easiest way to make sure you can effectively make this arguement is to never allow any Republican to ever hold office. Then you can scream "its not their fault" with a modicum of reality. It would be the best thing for the entire country.

is your claim then that no democrat is at fault for the current economic situation? in this thread, i have seen you blame only republicans.
 
They held the entire government in their hands.

Yet you people scrap and scamble to find Democrats as the reason this country is sooo fucked up right now.

I dont recall any time in history when a party attempted to make the argument that they are so impotent that even when they own the government in full the other team is so strong they can keep them from action.

No there not very good at holding themselves accountable. Here's the Republican version of the 3 principles of Quality Management. They are;

Who the hell are you?
What the hell do you want?
What's in it for me?
 
It just kills me that they dont even realize what they are saying in the end about their own party.

Dont elect Republicans because they cant even reighn in the minority dems if they have the whole crapshoot at their disposal.

They are arguing that they can not control the government even when they are in full control.

There was never any "republican complete control". Bush effectively kept this nation safe for 7 years, something partisans like you can't ever even acknowledge. He and other republican leaders made mistakes that have lended to this current crisis. He and other republican leaders were often blocked by democrat leaders to make neccesary changes to our financial institutions that could have gone a long way in preventing, or in the very least, mitigating the financial melt down.

In reading your posts it is impossible to not note that you are a miserable and ignorant shill who lacks any credibility in deciphering what has actually occured in our government and what will occur in the future if democrats have their way. We are on the verge of unleashing the most detrimental policies, that if not stopped, will completely undermine our system of government. Our congress is out of control!

He kept the nation safe for 7 years Please don't pay attention to the fact that two presidential terms adds up to 8 years and in that 8th year the United States suffered the most devastating terror attack ever.

And then we get more bullshit about Democrats "blocking" changes at financial institutions (keep in mind that no Republican actually gave a shit about making changes at financial institutions generally) when the Democrats didn't have to block anything. Republicans never tried to do anything. There was nothing to block. In fact, the SEC under the Bush Administration permitted the big investment banks to engage in exactly the same behavior that some Republicans complained about at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac by relaxing existing asset to debt ratio requirements.

That second paragraph sounds really scary. It looks like something I could've written back in 2004. So, while I can sympathize with you, I just don't buy your bullshit.
