False Benghazi outrage?

So the Right Wing has been crazed about this terrible tragedy since it happened. They want you to believe that its not because they feel they can score political points against a popular president and likely future president, but that its because true malfeasance has occurred.

I keep hearing that the "president lied"...

Please give me the quote you claim is a lie from the President?

Ok, if you don't have a quote, tell me what you believe the President did wrong?

Is it because he made the wrong call in the heat of the action?
Is it because he "failed to call it terrorism" for a time after the action?
Is it because his administration tried to control the message after the fact?

They shout Benghazi, Benghazi, yet they fail to give any articulate reason why they are so upset about it. Some scream impeachment, yet they have no crime. They say its going to bring HRC down, yet it appears she was not involved in the things they say were done wrong... So what is it?

It seems those outraged about Benghazi cant come up with any explanation about what specifically makes it a scandal.
 
Exactly as I expected, they cant answer the question... they have no idea what they are suppose to be outraged about, they simply want to be outraged.

I will repeat.

The administration was warned that there would be an attack in Benghazi. They were asked for beefed up security. They denied the request.

The day of the attack, requests for military assistance were requested and denied and the military was told to stand down TWICE

Obama was absent during the attack. Nobody can't account for his whereabouts while his Ambassador was being slaughtered

Obama lied about it being a terrorist attack

And what you call "controlling the message" we call a coverup. You know it. You know that this is spinning out of control for the White House which is why you are now backtracking and saying "Every administration does it".

BTW, your OP and your last post were 23 minutes apart. You might want to give it a bit more time before you start proclaiming that "NOBODY WANTS TO ANSWER"

Look, I am not surprised that you and Dungheap are defending Obummer to the Nth degree. You will avoid all truth at the expense of your country to put party over principle. WASHINGTON DC – The State Department contributed to heavily editing talking points surrounding the attacks that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans in Libya, leading to the removal of references to terror groups and CIA warnings about threats in the region, according to emails and documents obtained by ABC News.
The ABC News report says that the White House and State Department were informed by intelligence officials that the CIA was aware of potential threats to the Libyan consulate from terror groups before the attacks. But the report said references to those threats were removed from the final version of the talking points used by U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice because of pressure from the State Department.

According to the network, “12 different versions of the talking points” indicate extensive editing was done after they were first drafted by the CIA.


Lies means not telling the truth.....so many times its what you don't say that constitutes lying.

I'm not a right-winger .. and in fact, I'm more to the left than any democrat on this board.

Obama lied and attacked a small nation on false pretenses.

"Muammar Gaddafi has clearly lost the confidence of his own people and the legitimacy to lead"

That was a lie that cost the lives of countless innocent people .. many who died a horrible death.

Changing the Benghazi talking points numerous times was an attempt to disguise the truth .. that Obama and NATO once again attacked and destroyed a small nation for profit and against the will of the people .. and it was an attempt to cover up the truth that Stevens was a bagman working with terrorists and moving weapons into Syria.

Do you have any evidence that Quadaffy had not lost the support of his people? A civil war had begun, correct?

ANSWER: Because you've been lied to.

A civil war had begun .. and Obama and NATO picked the side they wanted to win and supported them. even though among them were terrorists who admitted fighting and killing American soldiers in Iraq. Obama and NATO supported the terrorists because they wanted to wrest control of Libya's resources away from the Libyan people.

Here is what Gaddafi was doing with Libya's resources .. something the West would have never done.
