Farm Sector Income & Finances- Net Income Up 40.7% from 2024.

Compensation for grain sale losses from confronting China, paid for with tariff revenue.

Ain't costing you a fucking dime.
When they could be using those tariff revenues for other things, and it is the American consumer that is now paying higher prices because of those tariffs and prices are going up and not all of Trumps tariffs have worked through the supply chain.
So it IS costing the American a lot more then a dime.
And I don't know about you but I am getting sick and tired of Trump fucking things up like this and having the US taxpayer foot he bill for those fuck ups.

That's funny how you suddenly changed your tune, after I explained your own article to you. Crop production revenue is down, not up.

Government revenue from tariffs could be spent on stuff like infrastructure and healthcare. There's no rule that if has to be put in the pockets of farmers as welfare payments.

Despite nonstop left lies to the contrary :

Farm Sector Income & Finances - Farm Sector Income Forecast

U.S. Department of Agriculture, Economic Research Service. (2025, September 3). Farm sector income & finances: Farm sector income forecast.

Net farm income, a broad measure of profits, is forecast to increase in 2025. Forecast at $179.8 billion for 2025, net farm income would be $52.0 billion (40.7 percent) higher than in 2024. Net cash farm income is forecast at $180.7 billion for 2025, an increase of $40.1 billion (28.5 percent) relative to 2024 (not adjusted for inflation).

In inflation-adjusted 2025 dollars, net farm income is forecast to increase by $48.8 billion (37.2 percent) from 2024 to 2025, and net cash farm income is forecast to increase by $36.5 billion (25.3 percent) compared with the previous year. If realized, both measures in 2025 would be above their 2005–24 averages (in inflation-adjusted dollars).

Hmm.. So food prices are going to go up 40% as farmers profits go up 40%?

So much for lower prices that Trump promised.

Exactly how much do you think goes directly to farmers in a farm bill? SNAP is not going to farmers, so we can start there...

Of what is a very large Farm Bill only about 20% goes to farmers, and almost all of that is in the form of loans that are repaid by the farmer with interest. The Farm Bill prioritizes corporate welfare (SNAP is almost always paid out to large food corporations), over small farmers. 80% of the "Farm Bill" is nutrition assistance (SNAP).

Your original intent was to attempt to prove farmers are doing great.

Farmers are not doing great. That's why Trump is filling their pockets with government handouts $.

Grok's own article said government payments to farmers went up by 30 billion $ this year in 2025 compared to 2024.

That is the primary reason farmers are projected to have more income this year. Their revenue from crop production is actually falling.

"Groks own article"... The farm bill was how much? Be honest. My numbers were correct.

Grok's own article came directly from Trump’s own US Department of Agriculture. Trump’s own USDA reported that government payments to farmers went up by $30 billion this year compared to last.

The ironic thing is Trump-loving farmers want the government and public social services cut to the bone, while they stand in line with their hands out for government money
