What it did was exactly like the ACA. It segmented and controlled segments of the economy telling privately owned companies what to build, when to build it, and who they could sell it to. But hey, they made the trains run on time. Mussolini tried to make it sound better, like politicians do. Unfortunately it is as poor for the economy as socialism.

I think that the more things that we allow our federal government to either control or have influence over the closer and closer we become to fascism. From healthcare to property to even what we can eat and drink.
 
when you deregulate the corporate world they have no one to control them.
