"Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power." — Benito Mussolini

This is my biggest problem with the Republican party and to a lesser extent the Democratic party.

The Conservative in America is desperate to do the bidding of corporations. Who is against organized labor? Who is giving huge tax breaks to Corporations? Who is against the minimum wage? Who is against OSHA? Who loves private prisons? Who is hostile to public school trying to privatize the school system? Who bows to every corporate whim?

So you think corporations like Facebook Google and Amazon are working in concert with republicans.

Who used corporations to exert their will by 'encouraging' (read that as threatening) employers/corporations mandate vaccines or lose their jobs???????

"often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition" - Merriam-Webster.

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/fascism

There are several definitions but lets go with the above.

January 6 was a group of Nationalists who were trying to subvert the Constitutional process of establishing the democratically elected leader in order to instead anoint Donald Trump dictator and autocratic ruler. They were trying to forcibly opress the opposition using weapons, and the leaders acknowledge they were hoping Trump would activate the military to come in on their side.

Donald Trump the one they were trying to appoint supports strict social regimentation by opposing protest movements (unless they support him) and opposing the legitimacy of those who are not within the social norm (homosexuals and other minorities).

The rioters often mention that they expected Trump to declare martial law then they could use the police and military to appoint Trump to lead the nation.

Facebook, Google and Amazon often support Republicans for office and they GREATLY benefit from the tax structure favored by Republicans, they GREATLY benefit by the "less regulation" crowd, yes.

Where? When? How? Who was the last republican any of them endorsed?

"Joel Kaplan, Fecebook’s vice president of global public policy is a big donor. Since joining Facebook in 2011, has given $373,000, mostly to Congressional Republicans."

Amazon donated $30,000 to the National Republican Congressional Committee in 2022.
$10,000 to Tim Scott.
$7,000 to Mike Lee.
$9,000 to Chuck Grassley
$1085.00 To Dan Krenshaw

The tiny handful of billionaire corporate oligarchs pulling the strings of the Republican Party set the policy, and the stupid fuck rank and file votes exactly the way the corporatists want them to vote-- as a show of their "rugged independence."
America is dying a painful death largely due to the crippling stupidity of white, working class devolved mutants from Middle America and the South who can be counted upon to vote DIRECTLY against their own economic best interests.
To those with the intelligence to see it, it's truly sickening.
