They do not need to wait for a request to enforce Immigration law, this is not a requirement at all. You are confusing them with the National Guard and exposing yourself as not understanding legal issues very well. I am embarrassed for you.

Who gives a shit? The law isn't a popularity contest.
If the elections were a reflection of total statewide popularity, there wouldn't be as many democrats in public office.
The law is the law and you should ask a lawyer how the process works.

Seriously, no state gets to keep Federal Law Enforcement out based on whether they request them to come in to enforce Federal Laws. Seriously, this is just sad little feels, has no basis in law, and is entirely BS. Walz and Frey should not have told their police not to do their part thus forcing Federal Law Enforcement to do the State's part and thus forcing them to add more Agents into the situation that Walz created.

They did this to their own citizens. It is total nonsense that ICE, or any other Federal Law Enforcement, has to sit quietly by and wait for Walz to ask for help... Utter bullsh*t. The State does not enforce Federal Law, they do not ask for "help" enforcing Federal Law. This isn't the National Guard or the military... This is a Law Enforcement Agency who is doing the job they are given authority to do through Congressional acts.

Why did they need to be there, other than the fact DonOld wanted to cause chaos for Walz.

There was absolutely no reason for 2,500 ICE agents to be there, other than DonOld’s and Miller’s pettiness.
