I am intelligent enough to see American conservatism for the abomination it has become. I spent most of my life just left of center on most issues...and to the right on a few. But now, I am totally to the left...and I think any intelligent, sane person should be. That includes those of Italian heritage...and every other heritage imaginable.

Why should the political beliefs of anyone be included in a consideration of whether or not they committed an act that is said to be criminal?

Why do YOU imply that Nazism is espoused by the folks that want lower Federal Taxes taxes, less Federal regulation, greater accountability from the Federal Government and reduced power wielded by the Federal Government?

Reducing Federal Government power while increasing personal freedoms is Trumpism. That is the form of government espoused by the Framers. That is the form of government the Constitution is intended to maintain.

Greater personal freedom is the goal opposed by the lying thieves campaigning for greater power to reside in Washington DC.

A strong central government is required for Nazism in America to thrive. That is exactly what Trump was against. Personal freedom and the protections maintained by government to protect and maintain personal freedom is the antithesis of Nazism.

He's a scum but I have to agree with the judge here. His Nazi sympathies have nothing to do with the crimes he committed. It's possible though that they might be taken into consideration at sentencing, assuming he's convicted. I don't know how that works but they do allow victim impact statements and other such info at sentencing hearings.

I hate to say it, but this is one where I agree with the judge.... a trial like that should focus on what happened, not the character of the person involved, which could be unduly prejudicial. If the person were dumb enough to testify in any way that could be rebutted by such evidence, sure, then allow it, but otherwise keep it out and focus on the facts of what happened that day.
