You are their servant.When you are in the military you are no longer a civilian.You serve the U.S. government,and if you dont they will have you court marshalled. That doesn’t sound like your free to me.

I've always thought that was how the liberals and Democrats viewed the troops....as servants, peasants, and subjects......

people that have given up their rights and freedoms......nothing more than their slaves.

Now we have it in writing ...... how sad and arrogant....how disspicable, how unAmerican.

While in the military you pledge to follow the Constitution and carry out legal orders of your superiors, including the POTUS. When retired, you have the full protection of all other US citizens.

Actually police, fire, teachers, civil 'servants' in general fall under this. Perhaps while in 'service' they shouldn't have the right to vote or speak towards issues? Is that what you are arguing for?

The military swear to an oath. They cannot, by law (the UCMJ), participate in or make political statements. Police, civil servants, teachers and firefighters are not beholden in that manner.
