Prevost, 69, from Chicago, Illinois, is the first ever pope from the United States. He will be known as Leo XIV.
A leader with global experience, he spent much of his career as a missionary in South America and most recently led a powerful Vatican office for bishop appointments. He is expected to build on Pope Francis’ reforms.

This apparent woke Pope vibe just screams that the Catholics are free-falling faster than a bad Yelp review, especially with their “priests can’t marry” soap opera fueling the mess. Way to tank, team.
I’ll keep my eyes on His Holiness’s next move with my usual laser focus: total disinterest. Here’s hoping this guy can at least keep his crew’s, shall we say, unsavory cravings in check. Might save the kids in those pews some grief.
