Trump-loving Florida governor Ron DeSantis is in hot water as news continues to come out regarding his actions in covering up Florida's COVID data before the Presidential election. He did this to help Trump and state Republicans win, because they had no chance of actually winning on their merits. The state of Florida is lost, and the fact that Trump won by such a large margin is absolute proof of that.

ACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Eight days ago, with guns drawn, investigators with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement showed up at the home of Florida's former COVID-19 data chief Rebekah Jones.

Officials were there to serve a search warrant. Jones is under investigation, accused of hacking into the state's emergency alert system. Jones created the state's original COVID-19 tracking dashboard. She now runs an independent version.

Governor Ron DeSantis fired Jones in the spring after she accused the state of manipulating Coronavirus infection data to downplay the pandemic.

"It's bizarre," Jones said. "I don't understand how somebody like me ends up on the governor's hitlist. I really don't. All I ever did was want to provide information to people so they can make informed decisions."

"I knew there was an IP address and there was a search warrant," Gov. DeSantis said. "I didn't necessarily know how they were going to serve it or anything like that. But quite frankly, I think they did it by the book."

"I knew that he had his hands all over this, but it's in a very extreme and autocratic step to take to send police to harass somebody because they're critical of you publicly," Jones said.

While coronavirus deaths are often recorded days or weeks later, Florida abruptly stopped including deaths that occurred more than one month earlier in its daily count on October 24, ten days before the election. Older deaths had consistently been included in the earlier data. The change came after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' administration announced that it would review every suspected coronavirus death before it is reported. The state began to include the older deaths in its daily counts again on November 17.

Just look at what happened to Rebecca Jones, for coming forward with what was going on about covid-19, and the way the police entered her home, hopefully the new AG should investigate this matter.
