CNN political analyst and Yale University lecturer in global affairs Asha Rangappa said there are so many more shoes still to drop in Robert Mueller’s Russia probe that everyone is “gonna be barefoot” by the end.
Anchor Ana Cabrera led a panel discussion over revelations in The New York Times that Flynn was in contact with Trump transition officials about his discussions with Russian ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kisylak — completely upending a whole set of administration falsehoods.
“Their contact with the Russian government was both improper and dangerous,” said former national security official Samantha Vinograd.
Cabrera asked Rangappa if she feels we’re going to be learning more about the discussion between special counsel Robert Mueller and President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.
“I think there’s absolutely more and that anyone who’s spoken to Mueller up to this point should be very afraid,” Rangappa replied. “Mueller now has a key witness…who has seen everything that went on.”
