Former GOP advisor says Trump has to be charged or Garland must resign

Conservative pundit Scott Jennings said either Trump has to be charged or Attorney General Merrick Garland resigns.


Jennings said there's no way the Attorney General could raid the former president's house, say they think he's violating three laws and then not press any charges.

He added that he thinks the raid was justified.

Absolutely agree. Garland must indict Trump or resign. It would also be a failure of President Biden.

Actually, I agree here, and the charge better be something serious. The problem for Garland is, if this is done frivolously or it becomes clear that the charge was leveled for political reasons, then Garland and Biden are fucked. Garland needs a charge and evidence that are a slam dunk, and I very seriously doubt he has that.

He has the evidence and he doesn't have to charge anyone if he doesn't feel like it. if he charges him and he is found guilty then Trump can't run again and it might be competitive. If he doesn't the democrats can save their money for 2028 because there is no way the orange asshole can win a general election now. He has about half the republicans solidly behind him, the other half fed up with his lies and crimes. He has none of the democrats and maybe a half dozen independents, he would be crushed.
