"The New York Police department confirmed to Newsweek they have charged 49-year-old Craig Tamanaha with criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, arson, criminal nuisance-endangering others, criminal trespass, criminal tampering and disorderly conduct in connection to the blaze.

Police added they do not believe the fire which broke out at Fox Square on the corner of West 48 Street and Sixth Avenue is politically motivated.

Tamanaha, who is homeless, was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday morning after he was allegedly observed by Fox News Channel security climbing the Christmas tree decorated outside their office Manhattan offices."


He's a homeless nutjob. Due to all the whining on Fox about it, I suspect they want this idiot publicly executed.

Fox News has made the so-called War on Christmas an annual tradition and the fire played into the network’s framing of the holiday under attack. While New York police have said that the crime does not appear to be premeditated or politically motivated, that did not stop hosts from treating the Christmas tree burning like an act of terror against Christians.

I have COMPLETELY given up on the MSM...ALL of it.

The horrifically, one-sided approach it took on Covid-19 - for profit from massive gains in viewer ratings and ad revenues.

'From March 16-20, Fox News saw its ratings climb 89 percent over the same time last year, to 881,000 primetime viewers per day ages 25-54, while CNN was up 193 percent to 790,000 and MSNBC climbed 56 percent to 570,000, according to Nielsen Media Research. And they did JUST that.

The ratings almost conclusively prove it.
It surely was deliberate.


I had largely given up on the MSM well over a decade ago.

Sorry, but I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I have faith in the goodness of people overall even if individuals keep proving that some people are fucking assholes.

US media are businesses; especially cable news....which is about 5 minutes of news, 10 minutes of commercials and 45 minutes of bullshit.
 
Christmas trees are a pagan tradition.

Mediocre attempts by Fox and Co. to complain they are victims of anti-christian persecution are not passing the laugh test.
