Here is proof that Fox News Rules the Cable Roost;
"Fox News Channel’s coverage of the bombing at the Boston Marathon last week propelled the network to the top of the cable rankings for the first time in nearly a decade. In both total day and primetime for the week of April 15-April 21, the News Corp-owned news network pulled ahead of usually top-ranked USA Network. Excluding election coverage last year, the last time Fox News was in the top position was August 2005, when Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast. In primetime, FNC garnered 2.874 million viewers on average for the week compared with No. 2 USA’s 2.621 million. CNN also climbed the cable ladder to finish No. 3 with 1.985 million viewers overall on average. History Channel was in fourth with 1.937 million viewers and A&E was fifth with 1.928 million."

Ummm....so? Just because the Connedservatives live and breathe FoxNews, doesn't mean it's "the best". I prefer Network News, because they are not on a 24 hour news cycle. That means that they don't have the pressure of trying to find new shit to say on a continual basis.

Just because a news agency suits your political ideology, doesn't make it "the best" in fact, I would use my "Critical Thinking" skills and do a simple test called "KISS". it's a method that troubleshooters use to diagnose problems all the time. KISS stands for "Keep It Simple Stupid" also, Occam's razor applies, which states that the simplest explanation is usually the correct one....so, using those two principles....which of these scenarios is more likely.

A. Fox News and other hard right media sources are the ONLY ones telling you the truth and ALL of the others are lying in some Socialist conspiracy?

Or

B. It's a wonderful Marketing ploy to get the gullible to listen to THEIR station loyally?

But, I don't expect a real, honest answer. Because the only thing Conservatives have "Critical Thinking" skills on is on what right wing media tells them to.

Due to live coverage of the Boston Marathon bombing suspect standoff and subsequent arrest during Eastern and Central primetime hours, there are no numbers for individual timeslots or programs on Friday evening.

Via TV Media Insights there are numbers for each individual network. NBC led the way in news coverage, averaging nearly 9 million viewers. ABC was second at 7.2 million, followed by CBS at 6.7 million, FOX at 3 million and the CW at 1.06 million.

Broadcast TV network Fox could become a subscription service that customers would have to pay for if the courts are not able to protect Fox's business from the startup Aereo, News Corp. Chief Operating Officer Chase Carey said on Monday.

Carey's comments come a week after a U.S. appeals court rejected a petition by the major broadcasters to stop the online service Aereo, which offers a cut-rate TV subscription for consumers by capturing broadcast signals over thousands of antennas at one time.

"If we can't have our rights properly protected through those legal and political avenues, we will pursue business solutions. One such business solution would be to take the network and turn it into a subscription service," said Carey, speaking at the National Association of Broadcasters show in Las Vegas.

Greta Van Susterin, as a Lawyer, has done a terrific job, up to now, of analyzing that Marathon Bombing, she is asking all the right questions, no pun intended. I hope Greta really delves into why Homeland Security is still spinning/hiding many facts, just like the State Department did with BenghaziGate

This is why Liberals cannot govern, they are too ideological to see the truth, and it is a real pity to behold, and when they get caught they start to spin and lie their way out of it. One common misconception of the uneducated and unintelegent is that might is the same thing as right.

Personally, I perfer almost universally, things that are less popular. Television stations, grocery stores, internet sites, Lawyers, Schools for my kids, Churches.... I find that the huge and most followed of any of these things are generally corrupted and cannot provide the service that the smaller and less popular can.
