Fox throws the hail mary

It is rare to see a news network in such full blown campaign mode. The day before the election, is their headline story about the sprint to the finish, or some residual Sandy reporting? No way! Their entire 1st page - the biggest picture/headline combo I have seen on a news site - calls the reader's attention to "what you didn't see", and claims that Obama didn't call Libya an act of terrorism in a CBS interview following the attack.

In the article, it rehashes every word of the exchange regarding Libya in the town hall debate with Romney, and makes a lot of Fox's usual "journalistic" observations, which cover accusations with a question mark (it's interesting that some posters on the right do the same thing here - so they can dodge that they are making an accusation by saying, "Hey - I was just asking the question"). It concludes by stating that there have been a lot of "strange political maneuvers" regarding Libya, but that Fox will continue to ask the tough questions.

Osama bin ladin is dead.

It took a democratic president to take him down.

why did the right NEVER get him?

They needed a boogey man to threaten us with

:rofl2:

I guess you don't watch MSNBC then. I can't believe you tried to say that with a straight face

:rofl2:

MSNBC is a biased network. Fox is much more coordinated about it; their raison d'etre is to be a conservative counterpoint to the "liberal media."

With MSNBC, what you have is on-air people and reporters who are liberal, and whose views bleed through on the coverage. It is much less coordinated and systemic than it is on Fox.

Lol, has the word Benghazi ever even been mentioned on Msnbc? I look forward to watching Chris Matthews implode tomorrow night

There is no way you believe that

How desperate you are.

Is "well they did it too"" the BEST you can come up with?

Do you have any neurons that fire properly? I was responding to one particular sentence in his OP.

See what he posted shit for brains? He made a categorical statement to which I replied that he apparently doesn't watch MSNBC because they have been in full blown campaign mode for OWEdummyfucker since his bullshit speech at Kerry's convention. They were in full campaign mode against Scott Walker. They are in full campaign mode against Todd Akin.

Now, if you can prove me wrong then please do. Otherwise, STFU or continue to be my bitch. Now here is some ice. That should help the redness from the bitch slap I just delivered to you

I was watching Fox last night, the were going on and on about how you can see defeat in Pres. Obama's eyes and how angery he is about it, then about how upbeat and enclusive the Romney campaign is acting because they know they have it in the bag.

Awwwwwww....something got I Hate Americans' undies in a bunch.

...someone said "Look how stupid Fox News is acting" and the BEST you could come back with is "...well MSNBC did it too...waaaaaaahhh!"

I don't know how you can watch it, there are only a few commentators on there that I would give my time.

Pure entertainment. The best was a video I saw on youtube, where Chris Christy was praising Obama and saying he did not care about Romney. The womans face was so funny. She was just stunned.

"Republicans originally thought that Fox worked for us and now we're discovering we work for Fox. And this balance here has been completely reversed. The thing that sustains a strong Fox network is the thing that undermines a strong Republican party."
David Frum - Speechwriter for George W. Bush

That's a pretty moot point. What MSNBC has done is seen the success that Faux News has had with it's infotainment/rightwing propaganda disguised as News as a business model and is attempting to create to liberal version of that business model. My own observation is, propaganda is propaganda. I watch neither.

I watch both, but I know what I'm getting with each.

It's actually a pretty sad, almost tragic thing. In my lifetime, I have basically watched real journalism die. There is no such thing anymore; every outlet has an agenda.

If you watch neither than you dont know whhat MSNBC does.

They present facts and not fiction.

The facts are not propaganda.

facts are not ALWAYS in the middle.

MSNBC doesnt lie.

fox relables republicans who fuck up as Dems.

They support lies
Say what? MSNBC is a cynical attempt by NBC to imitate Fox's success by creating a left wing propaganda cable program. How can you say "They don't lie?". That's just partisan Kool-Aid.

I'd be happy if they both just simply dissappeared. Not because I think they are both lying sack of shit propagandist. Hey, it's America, sell what the market wants. I'd like to see them both dissappear because besides sharing being propaganda outlets they also have something else in common. They both insult my intelligence!
