Franklin Graham leaving GOP

I really hope that happens, it will be good for America.

They can call it Christian Jihad.

If the Republicans did not make accommodations for them they would be relegated to the status they deserve.

I need to get it first. If you think Christians will leave the GOP and form their own party you're dreaming.

I don't know about forming their own party, but if Graham is leaving the GOP, I am sure there are those who agree with him and they will have to go somewhere because they aren't leaving politics.

Conservatives generally, are on verge of abandoning the GOP. Apart from de-registering as republicans, I'm not sure what the actual effect would be since it's not like they're going to start voting for liberal democrats. Graham may be trying to send them a message.

some people may catch up with the learning curve. dissent is the only position to take in order to remain innocent of the big treason.

I think he's a horrible person who doesn't practice his father's teachings. But as long as he doesn't join the Dems, I'm good. :)

What is so horrible about him?

Did he leave a girl for dead after driving a car off of a bridge?

Was he accused of rape?

Let me guess. His opposition to murdering unborn babies is what makes him "horrible" to you?

Nice big tent ya got there sugar

The worst thing I recall is he called Islam 'an evil and wicked religion'. That will get you pegged as a hater by the left.

Many people in the Middle East might agree with Graham, but yeah.

They have been defecting in droves since 2008 and McCains failed campaign. I honestly believe that Palin's popularity scared the shit out of McCain and he threw the race. The establishment GOP is finally being exposed for all to see. I came to my senses during Bush's second term.

Me too.

There just isn't enough daylight between progressivism and establishment Republicans. They keep insisting we can't win nationally without being progressive lite. But the problem is too many people who might turn out for a more attractive candidate won't or didn't turn out for McCain or Romney.

A Trump or Cruz can change that. That could be a nail in the establishment coffin.

They have both nailed the GOP coffin lid securely and lowered into it's cold dark grave.Lol

Not sure if you are old enough to remember but the establishment wing of he GOP hated Reagan as much as the democrat party did. He was an outsider that upset the status quo.

I am a Cruz supporter.

Well, the establishment isn't the GOP, so there's that lol.

But if we did just disappear, how long before the country became a socialist hell hole? And where would people flee to?

They loved GWB, they considered it unpatriotic to dislike GWB. Now its patriotic to hate the America.
