Freedom Flotilla - 2
Another so-called Freedom Flotilla is heading to the shores of Gaza with the provocative goal of delivering food for the supposedly starving Palestinians. It consists of a frail sailing yacht, the Madalina, with a sack of flour and a pack of canned goods on board, headed by a very odious person, who is promoting herself everywhere, Greta Thunberg. Thus, Jewish journalists comment on the humanitarian mission, with elements of cynicism and mockery, with an attempt to break the illegal blockade of a territory that is not the territory of the state of Israel. A certain Kaplun accuses Greta Thunberg of violating borders, but unfortunately he does not specify whose borders she is violating, apparently realizing that Gaza is in no way Israeli territory, if we recall the fact that Gaza, according to Resolution 181 of the UN General Assembly of November 29, 1947, is part of the State of Palestine. (1,2) Thus, Kaplun is lying about violating the state border of Israel. Another thing, if we take into account the fact that Israel illegally occupies the territory of Palestine, then yes, from Kaplun's point of view ..., but alas, this once again indicates the seizure of territory by Israel belonging to the Palestinian people. In this regard, the reason why Israel did not join the countries accusing Russia of occupying Ukrainian territory is understandable. The seizure of the yacht "Madalina" occurred in neutral waters, identical to the seizure of the flotilla "Free Gaza", which, according to international law, is equated to piracy and is classified as international terrorism. True, in the case of the Free Gaza flotilla, consisting of 6 vessels, there was some bloodshed, when Israeli commandos on the Mavi Marmara killed 9 people and wounded 30. Subsequently, accepting the blame, Israel had to pay compensation for the robbery committed.
It must be said that today's lies and cynicism of Israeli journalists are no different from the reaction of Russian journalists from Echo of Moscow to the events related to the first flotilla. I will give an excerpt from my article (3), written in response to their statements justifying Israel's actions to stop the humanitarian mission to help the starving Palestinians:
"I want to dwell on the big lie that is present in the statements of journalists hanging out on Echo of Moscow (Latynina, Radzikhovsky), and every time foaming at the mouth justifying any aggression on the part of Israel. I deliberately recalled the Soviet newspaper "foaming at the mouth", which was considered by party propagandists to be the most successful phrase defining the final verdict on "Western Slander", but which this time exactly corresponds to reality. Their lie is hidden here:
"And now about the so-called blockade of the Gaza Strip. Well, about the fact that the imaginary "blockade" is simply political isolation after the terrorist organization Hamas came to power there, with which the Palestinian Authority authorities themselves, to put it mildly, do not agree. And what does "blockade" mean? All food, energy resources and goods necessary for life are constantly imported from Israel. The restrictions imposed on Gaza were a response to the kidnapping of soldier Gilad Shalit from Israeli territory by Hamas terrorists." In justification of the military action to seize the "Free Gaza" flotilla, Bonner writes: "Israel, like any state, not only can, but must - this is the main duty of any government - protect the country from the penetration of any subject dangerous to its citizens." But from the previous quote it follows that Gaza is not Israeli territory. So where is the truth? The flotilla, as we know, was heading for Gaza, not for Israel. Conclusion: Bonner is not so knowledgeable about the issue as to take her amateurism seriously. It seems to me that Ms. Bonner does not really know where the state border of Israel is."
By the way, Bonner's opinion on the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza is no less interesting: "The human rights activist, as she positions herself, believes that only a "swollen belly and arms and legs like sticks" reflect the degree of starvation, and if this sign is not observed in Palestinian children, then there is no humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza. In this case, one must think that the belly, grown to the spine, which is visible in the pictures of children from Auschwitz, is evidence of the organization of excellent food for concentration camp prisoners by the fascists. Here we are not talking about political correctness, but about the complete lack of morality in Mrs. Bonner." It must be said that from its very inception, Israel has not observed accepted international norms, enjoying the patronage of America, which vetoes any decisions of the Security Council condemning Israel's actions. Under pressure from the all-powerful Jewish lobby, America is forced to pursue a policy of double standards and is not without hypocrisy. (4)
