In most cases that is. "Freedom" is just a sucker word to fool the gullible anyway. In many cases, too many to mention, you don't have it anyway. But I have some examples for you. To start out, do you have the freedom to go fishing? In most cases, no. You need to pay for a fishing license. Are you free to hunt? In most cases, no. You have to buy a hunting license. Do you have the freedom to drive? No. You have to pay for a drivers license. As well as plates and insurance. Are you free to own a home? No. If you quit paying taxes on it, you will find out soon enough who really owns it. Etc. etc. etc.
Money on the other hand can get you many freedoms. Such as the freedom of coal companies to plow off mountain tops to get at coal instead of hiring miners. Etc. times zillions. In fact, every unfortunate thing going on today is because of some sort of freedom. Also, ants and termites have existed for MANY millions of years. And they don't have any freedom at all. (But as humans, we can do better than that) On the other hand, it will be a freakin miracle if humanity lasts for more than fifty more years. On the whole, people need far fewer "freedoms."
