Frickin' Solar Eclipse is behind the Frickin' Clouds!

So, we get a near full solar eclipse today in CO, but I don't get to take pictures because the frickin' thing is hidden behind the clouds!
 
I'm going to go outside right now and look at the sun.

It was dark out there. I couldn't see the sun anywhere. Does anyone know what this phenomena is?
