This is a pretty good critique of Obama's and Congress's role in formulating the Cap and Trade bill as well as healthcare reform, imo. Reasonable people can obviously disagree but this is not coming from partisan hack position on either the right or the left.
Of the many things I'm not a policy wonk is one of them. So I can't sit here and debate multiple nuances of a bill attempting to be passed. But I know enough to understand the big picture of a bill and if what is being described here is accurate it seems like one big future cluster f*ck awaits us all (especially cap and trade).
The other interesting take is Obama's role. Does anyone here disagree with the author that Obama isn't taking a strong enough stand or using his bully pulpit as effectively as he could be in getting these priorities passed to his liking? (Not trying to imply you shouldn't but am just asking)
