One by one as each Trump lie, being pushed by him as the reasons people should know that card was not from him, are stripped away, does this shake the Magats confidence in him???

Shall we keep a running list?

- I don't use the word enigma so that is proof it it was not me... BUSTED!
- I don't doodle or draw so that is the proof... BUSTED!
-?

Trump is a well known liar. He lied about not drawing pictures. He lied about not reducing grocery prices. He lied about ending the war in Ukraine. Why should anyone believe he's not lying about his close relationship with Epstein?

Yup.

But the usual "anyone" believing Trump are his Magats across social media calling this another Democrat hoax citing Trump does not use words like "enigma" and Trump does not "draw" and therefore that is the proof they need this is a hoax.

So this is where we go back to the old standby...

While the MAGAts in his administration and Congress are falling in line, his MAGA base is drifting away from him over the Epstein coverup.

Congressional MAGAts appear to be trying to push this back until fall and hope the story dies by then.

A growing force of Republicans are calling for transparency in the Jeffrey Epstein saga, with many calling for files from the billionaire sex offender's investigation to be released -- a fervent demand of the MAGA movement that propelled Donald Trump into a second term in the White House that is now frustrating lawmakers from both parties.

But after a handful of Republicans temporarily stalled the $9 billion rescissions package last week over the Epstein issue, Speaker Mike Johnson does not appear likely to entertain further consideration of the matter before setting the House free on a five-week recess that stretches past Labor Day.

It would appear that so far the only "defense" is that drunken mini-Trump Stonehead posting the same boring meme, as he'd apparently used up all his words for the day. :rofl2:
I doubt this will go away in five weeks as Speaker Johnson hopes. What's funny is, after 10 years of screaming about Democrats and the Epstein files, the JPP MAGA morons are walking it back and saying "What files?". LOL

Critics of President Donald Trump are accusing him of trying to distract from the Jeffrey Epstein files as the administration faces pushback for more transparency regarding the case.

Among a recent flurry of wide-ranging posts on his social media platform, Trump on Sunday demanded that the Washington Commanders reverse the team's name change, claiming that there is "a big clamoring for this."

He then followed up several hours later, saying, "My statement on the Washington Redskins has totally blown up, but only in a very positive way," and threatened to not facilitate a deal for the football team's new stadium in Washington, D.C., if it does not change its name.

In response to the post, Joe Walsh, a former Republican congressman who ran against Trump for president in 2020, said on social media, "Trump is scared to death of the Epstein files."...

....Trump also turned his attention to the Wall Street Journal, pushing back against what he called a "typically untruthful story" published Sunday that reported that in the past few days, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent privately laid out his case to Trump for why he shouldn't try to push out Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell.

Trump's criticism of the Wall Street Journal comes days after the president filed a $10 billion libel lawsuit against the paper, Rupert Murdoch and others over the Thursday report about Trump's alleged birthday message sent to Epstein in 2003, which he says does not exist.

The president also reposted a video on his social media platform on Sunday that included fake footage of former President Barack Obama being arrested in the Oval Office and behind bars. Trump has in recent days baselessly accused Obama and other Democrats of making up and doctoring Epstein files.

Democratic strategist Sawyer Hackett argued that with posts like the Washington Commanders name change and Obama arrest video, Trump is attempting to "distract from the Epstein scandal."

Is it amazing. Just as Congress may introduce a new avenue to gaining additional information...

Trump has his personal defense lawyer, now in the DoJ trying to race in first to meet with her...

If Trump's personal defense lawyer and now DAG meets with Maxwell watch for her to be completely silent after or refusing to meet with Congress or to speak (take the 5th) if forced despite her showing openness to just that in the hopes of getting her case revisited her verdict set aside.

With the DoJ under Trumps control and all those records contained Maxwell is the only loose end left to tie up.

And Congress will be blocked by the Magats from bringing in MAxwell.

Trumps defense attorney, now DAG, will meet privately with her, and if you are a betting person you should bet on Maxwell getting a very Zelinski type 'Perfect conversation'. Blanche won't tell her to come up with memories that would bury Clinton or other Dems on Trumps retribution list, but he will say in very lawyerly terms that 'if she is able to search her memory and remember any such things he knows Trump would consider a pardon for her'.

Maxwell seems to be the singular threat of disclosing things Trump does not want out, since his DoJ or Magat congress won't do it. So Trump needs to lock down Maxwell and seems to be doing just that.

Reports that federal workers were tasked with reviewing Jeffrey Epstein files to flag any mention of Donald Trump are indeed true, according to a legal expert on Sunday.

Legal analyst Allison Gill, better known as Mueller, She Wrote, did a little investigating of her own after it was reported that FBI agents were instructed to "flag" any mention of Donald Trump in the Jeffrey Epstein files.

"When I saw that over one thousand people had been put to work reviewing the Epstein files, I put a call out on my BlueSky account," the legal expert said as she explained her request for anonymous details from members of the FBI who were tasked with the assignment.

She adds, "In the 24 hours since, I’ve received several messages, including from a former analyst that was assigned to review the files, and a few things stood out to me."

According to Gill, "First, approximately 1,000 personnel in the Information Management Division (IMD) and the FBI New York Field Office were assigned to this task, confirming the whistleblower account made to Senator Durbin’s office. I can also confirm that a log exists tracking the mentions of Donald Trump in the files, and that there were approximately 100,000 files containing roughly 300,000 pages. Individual analysts were told to flag mentions of Trump by document and page number by logging them in an Excel spreadsheet, then they’d hand in their spreadsheet at the end of their (sometimes 24 or even 48-hour) shift. But it’s important to note that the agents were not told to flag Trump until later in a process that began mid-March

Going further, she reports, "The process of reviewing the Epstein and Maxwell files was chaotic, and the orders were constantly changing - sometimes daily."

"Regarding the ever-changing nature of the instructions, which one source described as 'full panic mode,' there were at least four different review instructions," she wrote on Sunday.

She went on to describe what could be a major vulnerability in the federal operation.

"One person I spoke to on the condition of anonymity said that many agents spent more time waiting for new instructions than they did processing files. But here’s what caught my attention: the files were stored on a shared drive that anyone in the division could access. Normally, access is only granted to those working on a project, but because of the hurried nature of the exercise, the usual permission restrictions were not in place," according to the expert. "Additionally, the internal SharePoint site the bureau ended up using to distribute the files toward the end did not have the usual restricted permissions. This left the Epstein and Maxwell files open to viewing by a much larger group of people than previously thought."

Because of video training programs, she noted, "That means that video exists of trainers explaining the process of flagging instances of Donald Trump appearing in the files, and those videos went out on unclassified networks within the bureau."

"It’s also of note that the trainers toward the end were folks from the Department of Justice, and not the FBI," she said. "As far as content, there was one confirmed mention of Donald Trump in the files reviewed by an analyst who again spoke on the condition of anonymity. Beyond that, there were other instances of Trump appearing in the files, but the number of times and to what extent is unknown."

She added:

"But the log exists."
