Well known for his tRump asskissing, outlandish comments and attention seeking theatrics, GOP Rep. Gaetz appears to be taking the CV issue a bit more serious now.

It is comical to note that Gaetz now claims his House floor gas mask wearing stunt was not intended to make light of the CV issue......In reality, that is EXACTLY what he was doing. That said, an avid supporter of tRump lying isn't exactly a newsflash.

It’s exactly what he was doing, he thought it was a hoax, until it wasn’t for him, if he was serious about it. He would have worn the mask to the CPAC which he didn’t. Matt thinks people are as stupid as he is and the cultist are.

the other rightys are just as stupid. They deny that Trump has made a mess of Corona because they refuse to admit he ever does anything wrong. People will die from his delayed action. Trumpy knew if it just went away, he would look great. So he waited for that to happen. It was not going to. Trump told lie after lie and showed how alert he is at the CDC. He is so damn embarrassing.
The Repubs in congress and the admin have to risk getting it so trump looks good. But they are little people and do not matter to Daffy.

His first action was great, restricting travel, but then he fell behind. He had the examples of China and Italy at how fast the virus spreads. They knew medical facilities were overwhelmed. They should have had test kits. They should have started setting up emergency facilities to test people without them exposing others at emergency rooms and clinics. They should have had a contingency plan for containment. Thank goodness for savvy local leaders who are taking steps.

The worst thing, Dear Leader lied about the risks even when his top health officials are stating that the virus will spread.

I’d call it alarming inaction.
 
Credit where it's due: this was extremely well-earned egg on the face.

You have to work hard to attain this level of humiliation. Kudos to him.
 
Matt was stupid and paying the price. Hope he survives but suffers some lung scarring. He needs an event like this to tell him to get on the right path.
