Gay Scouts

They now allow gay boys to be Scouts. I don't have a problem with that, since the organization may be able to straighten some of them out.

I'm glad that they denied membership to the gay adults who want to "lead".

It was a dumb decision. They now open themselves up to lawsuits citing discrimination. They just destroyed the organization. Chalk one up for the deviant queers in tearing down a strong institution. Many parents will no longer have their children participate. Next the queers will say things like camping and making fires is too "hard", they want knitting and crochet. Why couldn't the queers just join the girl scouts or better yet just start their own organization?

Yeah I know....as if there hasn't been gay scouts throughout the history of scouting. Just because they weren't open about it doesn't mean they weren't there. I bet there's even Eagle Scouts who are gay.

I just read this to my hubby. Here's his response:

I was a boy scout and cub scout. You're an ignorant ass. I can out-butch you any day of week and I'll take my knitting needles and shove them up ass. It'll be the best sex of your life.

Does that mean all of you liberals obsessed with the Tea Party are closeted conservatives? It is a stupid thesis put forth by those who seek to stifle debate.

By the way "homophobia" is a dumb term. Nobody is scared of them, well except for the STDs they harbor, nobody is scared of them. We just see them for the abject, immoral cretins that they are. Political correctness does not blind us to the stain that they are on society

My scout leader had a son in our troop. The son was a super scout... Made eagle at a fairly young age... Made his dad very proud. He was obviously gay, but had not made the decision to come out yet... When he got to college, he did. It was no surprise to anyone who knew him. Regardless of his sexual orientation, he was a nice guy, a good friend, and a great scout... and all that happened fifty years ago.

We already know that sexual orientation has nothing to do with a persons character or ethics.....we could say the same thing about some drug users.....or
any number of folks that don't totally share our values on many levels.

The only problem I have with homosexuals is exactly the same problem I have with what some people call evangelicals......both seem to have a tendency to
get in your face sooner or later.....I don't give a shit about your religious views or your sexual preferences....I don't want to hear about it, or read about it,
or be told I have to accept it. We'd all be better served if both would just stfu and go about their lives.

Everyone on this site is, to one degree or another, preoccupied with politics....I'd say we all have a greater interest in it than the average citizen....imagine, if all you did,
with every person you come into contact with, immediately start talking about your political views, day after day, hour after hour....sooner rather than later,
your gonna piss the average person off....

We don't want to hear about breeder escapades, we don't want to hear you bragging about how big your johnson is, we don't want to hear about how you'd fuck that chick all night long if you could, we don't want to know anything.

The only Eagle Scout I've ever known was a closeted gay man.

Howey and his homo lobby has destroyed the Boy Scouts of America.

This was carefully calculated right down to the last detail. All of you who think that the BSA is not hurting themselves with this cave under enormous pressure from these corporations who forced this change had better realize that this was just the first phase.

It's over my friends and this is another example of just how evil minded Howey and his organization and their patsies who dance when Howey pulls their strings are.

The BSA is finished and their donors from the common people are pulling out left and right.

The pressure from Howey's associates was just too much to bear for BSA and the BSA is finished.

The rest is all window dressing, it's over.
