I was watching Kevin Bacon on Seth Meyers this morning. Asked a question about cooking, he mentioned that both he and his wife cooked, but that she (Kyra Sedgwick) was more of a "recipe-follower" and he was more experimental. I'm the same way; recipes are recommendations. A starting point for me to do as I please and cook to taste. My wife is a recipe follower.
