No doubt. This is why I think the entire place should just be left to their own devices for about 10 years. We just need to get all the surrounding countries to sit out any future conflicts and let Israel and Palestine hash out what they have to hash out.

Because right now: I can't find ANYONE who is wholly clean or anyone who is wholly guilty in this mess. Israel had every right to defend itself against Hamas. Hamas uses human shields so it makes Israel into the bad guy when they start killing human shields.

This is about as fractally fucked up as one can imagine. Honestly why does ANYONE CARE? If two groups can't, IN SOME MANNER, figure out how to live together in less time than a CENTURY I don't think anyone else will be able to fix it.

America doesn't have the time for this shit now. We're busy deconstructing our entire government in hopes of a replacement that we've been promised will be "better". So we don't have time to be trying to figure out who in the Hatred Olympics we hate more: Israel or Hamas.

Fair enough. So when we disentagle from the various foreign involvements and armed things all over the world can we agree to scale back our military budgets by a HUGE amount and divert the money into other things in our government? Things like energy and infrastructure and education?

Or maybe just give everyone back the money that normally goes to the world's largest military altogether? That seems like it would go directly to people's bottom lines a lot faster than tariffs with China.

No. Dismantle departments that the govt has no constitutional authority to be involved with like education just to name one. Keeping an army is an explicit responsibility of the govt.
