Germany and France have warned Donald Trump against any attempt to “move borders by force” after the incoming US president said he was prepared to use economic tariffs or military might to seize control of Danish-administered Greenland.

Alexander Mercouris in todays brief speculates that this is about an expectation the America will dump Europe, that having Greenland controlled by Europe and NATO is not good enough, America must have it because we need the resources on it.
 
What are they going to do, whine loudly about it? Neither has the military to do anything, particularly Germany. Sad huh? France is a more serious military power than Germany today...

What will France do, impose an embargo on brie and whine... err, wine on the US? Maybe Germany will stop importing shitty quality cars and knockwurst or something...

Got to wonder, Putin’s aim for decades has been to divide the western democracies, and now we got Trump unnecessarily creating discord among prior traditional democratic allies while Trump’s buddy Musk is spreading misinformation and conflict in those same nations via his social media resources. Makes one wonder

But, but but the meeting in Trump Tower was over adoptions
