As tRump, Pence and a host of other Republicans continue to blatantly lie to the American public over who was and was not a part of operation Warp Speed, I thought that I might throw a little "truth" on the subject.

The truth is that Pfizer didn’t receive any funding from Operation Warp Speed for the development, clinical trial and manufacturing of the vaccine.

Rather, its partner, BioNTech SE, has received money — from the German government.

I assume that on principle, Deplorables will reject any help from European socialism.

I sacrifice nothing in credibility by asking questions on this or by trying to be neutral about what Trump says rather than smearing everything he says as a "pathetic and pathological lie." There's another thread here bashing Obama for lies. Half or more of the list given are not close to lies. Yet, it is the same sort of bashing you do against Trump.

This continues to ignore that the process was shortened by Warp Speed and that the US government pre-paid for doses so that they could be manufactured and ready before testing was concluded.

The reality: Any company that has stage 3 testing being worked at this time are benefitting from Warp Speed even if they didn't take grant money.

For example, the WaPo's fact checkers regularly rate things he says a lies when they clearly and unambiguously are hyperbole, exaggeration, bragging, or a statement / promise that isn't fully kept.
