I'm currently reading Decision Points by GW Bush, and he has many stories about his father.
When he was in his early 80's, hospitalized for a blood infection, he was in his private room with a few doctors discussing treatment options, and a young nurse walked in.
He asked her: "Nurse, are my testicles black?"
Taken aback, she said "Umm, Mr. President, I'm not really sure..."
Interrupting, he asked her again: "Nurse, are my testicles black?"
She looked over at the doctors and they look back at her. She sighed, went to lift up his sheet...
Interrupting again, he asked her: "Nurse, are my test results back?"
The whole room erupted in laughter.
