Beck, who hosted a show on Fox News from 2009 to 2011, appeared on “The Kelly File” with Megyn Kelly on Tuesday to discuss his tenure with the network. While on air, Beck said his program, which reveled in conspiracy theories and denounced President Barack Obama as a radical destroying the country, played a role in driving the nation apart.

“I remember it as an awful lot of fun and that I made an awful lot of mistakes,” Beck told Kelly. “I think I played a role, unfortunately, in helping tear the country apart.”

After leaving Fox News in 2011, Beck founded his own libertarian-oriented online network, TheBlaze, which also provides content to The Dish network and Optimum TV. Beck continues to host his own show, “The Glenn Beck Program,” on TheBlaze, though some of his antics, such as crying on air and using a chalkboard to demonstrate points, have been toned down."

I suspect he'll be along soon to post here, it will be inane, and I will laugh. I'm pretty sure with those hints you can find somebody that might possibly be GrandpasSitar. Then you'll laugh. Afterwards, because we disagree on some things politically and you agree with GrandpasSitar, you won't admit it was funny. But deep down you will know...

But Glen (uneducated) Beck wanted to start his own civilization much like most crazy people. His version was called "Independence America" and he actually designed an entire city he proclaimed he "left for future generations".

In this wild west style city with guns on the hips of everyone, he contradicts the Left's movements because they grow their own food and are able to have community feasts without a large corporation sending in the FDA to shut it down to ensure all small towns had to buy Corporate Foods.

Mr. No Government created a city where he is god.

He tore the country apart with history. He is a teacher, and was doing the same thing liberal professors do. Using a bully pulpit to preach his version of American history.Trouble is, he could back it up, and we could always check his work. If he is wrong in his predictions, he says so. He gives himself too much credit for tearing the country apart, after all, it wasn't Glenn Beck who wanted "fundamental change" in the country.

Just want to say Glenn Beck is not a libertarian. Not even remotely. He is a neoconservative and a social conservative. Bill Maher has way more claim to the label than Beck. Even grind is slightly more libertarian than Beck. Slightly.
