People such as Trump. A judge ruled that he should be allowed to have a "Special Master" review documents recovered from the mar-a-lago raid. I wonder if such a thing ever existed before Trump's lawyers came up with it. I've been around for quite a while. And I've never heard the term "special master" ever used. The "law" sucks ass. And this is just another example of it. it is as I said often enough before. The law is written by and for the wealthy. I heard somebody else make a true statement about it. They said that the law isn't written to protect the poor from the powerful. It is written to protect the powerful from the poor.

As for the slimy, suck ass judge who allowed Trump to have a "special master" review the documents seized, it should have considered this. When Biden was sworn in as president, Trump became a private citizen. And no private citizen should be allowed to possess secret government documents. EVER!!!

If you extended that argument then no private citizens should have the Secret Service assigned to them.

The term "secret service" is a joke. There is nothing secret about what they do. At least in regards to protecting active or inactive political leaders. In that role, they are just body guards. You don't need any secret service to perform that role. Next, I may have been mistaken in what I said. It might be at least morally justified for a private citizen to possess secret government documents. If the reason for their possessing them is to uncover government corruption. Trump's motivations for doing so were almost certainly the opposite of that.

Also, in looking it up I found that there have been "special masters" appointed by a court before. For the purpose of investigating some technical question for the court. But in the case of Trump having secret government documents, there is nothing technical in nature to be investigated. It is self evident. He had such documents. As a private citizen, even if he was an ex-president, should he have been allowed to do so. I say no. There was even talk about some of the documents possibly being protected under lawyer-client privilege. But if Trump is the client, who is the lawyer. The government? Because they are classified 'government' documents.
