General Mills is recalling 5-pound bags of Gold Medal Unbleached Flour because of salmonella concerns.
The packages being recalled are those with a better-if-used-by date of April 20, 2020, and a UPC of 000-16000-19610-0, the company said Wednesday.
The recall, which affects fewer than 100,000 bags, is because salmonella was found during sampling of this flour, according to the Minneapolis-based food maker. General Mills hasn't received any consumer reports of confirmed illnesses stemming from these bags of flour.
