Bud lite has always been a Women's Beer. In fact, most all American beer was dark before men went off to war during WWI. and the major consumer of beer in America became the women. American Beer brewers, at the time, started brewing a lighter beer (that you could see through) aimed at their new major American consumers- WOMEN!
Then sometime in the early 70's, they went even further and started brewing even a lighter beer (lighter in calories), and calling it- LIGHT BEER on the label.
Every time I see a man drink a Light Beer, I think to myself- There sure are a lot of feminine men these days.
It's funny to me, how when you ask a man how he likes his coffee, he'll usually bounce back in a very deep masculine voice, "I ONLY DRINK MY COFFEE BLACK!"
But if you ask the same men if they like dark beer, "FUCK NO, I DON'T DRINK NO SHIT! I only drink Bud Lite"!
That's always confused me a bit, and I find it a bit ironic! What happened to manhood?
American Men have been turning into sissies ever since Lite Beer came onto the market!
I have been a home brewer for 30 years or more, and I have always brewed Brown Ales, Stouts, Ambers, and Barley wines, and I find it interesting that most American Men won't even touch them with a ten foot pole!
Although most of my women friends love them- while their husbands insist, "I'll just drink my Bud Lite- Thank You very Much"!
