GOP wins the House

President Elect Trump has stated his policy positions and he has a mandate to implement them.

The presidency and the Senate were flipped and the House remains with the Republicans.

The Supreme Court remains 6-3 Conservative.

He has all of the tools and he will deliver.

Looks like more tax cuts for the rich, higher taxes for the poor and middle class?!! We can look forward to more dirty air and water too?!!
More blatant corruption and gross incompetence in our federal government?!!

His new TAX THE POOR policy is going to do wonders. As an added benefit now they can FINALLY have some skin in the game and kick in to pay their fair share!

Filibuster. Unlike Obama with a Filibuster proof Senate... what was his excuse for not getting it all done?
It is 60 votes needed to end a filibuster. The most Obama had was 57. No President has had a filibuster proof majority since Carter(almost 50 years ago). Even Carter's theoretical filibuster proof majority was not so clear, because Democrats did not vote in lockstep.

incorrect. After 2008 elecrion for 72 days Obama had a filibuster proof supermajority in both houses of Congress. What you are not factoring in here were the two senators that caucused with the Democrats giving them, for a short period an actual filibuster proof majority, with a supermajority in the house as well... that supermajority changed when one more seat was filled by an R... after the 72 days.
