Great Weekend for Football

Mott the Hoople

Sweet Jane
Now that was a great weekend for football, two teams playing the game the way it was meant to be played. It's a crying shame they can't play the Super Bowl up here in the midwest. Paul Brown Stadium would be perfect!

snowy fields are a gaylords dreams
The big one will be played on a current century stadium in Dallas.

Jay Quitler sure showed his stuff on that sideline. Maybe his goose pimples were degrading the aerodynamics of his throwing arm and his diabetes made his knee all hurty!

Awww....sounds like a bit of sour grapes their Damo. Granted the guy didn't pull through in a big game but his injury did look legite to me and he was hurting the team. It was obvious he couldn't plant and throw and it really sucked that the Bears didn't have a decent back up. It cost them dearly, that's for sure.

from the non Ohio Slow Alumni, I expect nothing less than twisting reality. Sure you don't want fast fields ie. you want the pro game slowed down to your Big Ten level. bhahahah

Orton would have shrugged it off and kept playing hard football.

Whats a matter? Can't handle a little cold weather and hard nosed tackling? By the way, it's called "Tackle Football" not "Run Football".

Yeah, that Orton was a fricken football genius this season leading his team to...OH THAT'S RIGHT! Last fricken place in the AFC West. You notice that it is Matt Casell and NOT Orton that is going to be the QB for the Pro-Bowl? Orton and the Donkey's are a joke.

Topper, one of the greatest games in NFL history was the Ice Bowl between Greenbay and Dallas. Only soft skinned pussies with no heart would rather play in Dallas or Miami or a dome rather than in a real football stadium, like Lambeau, Heinz or even Paul Brown. The ONLY reason the superbowl is played in warm climes and domed stadiums is for the spectators and the half time shows that have become as much of an event at the game itself. If football was still the mans sport it was in the 60's and the 70's there would be no forward progress rule, tackling the quarterback the same way you tackle a running back would not result in penalties and games would NEVER EVER be played indoors.

Orton, despite missing the last 3 games, finished as the #10 passer in the league.

3,653 yards, 281 avg per game, 25 TDs, only 10 INTs.

Matt Cassell was #19

The Pro Bowl is just a popularity contest.

Hit and miss weekend, as the Packers won, but the Steelers didn't lose. That said, the Steeler's outplayed the Jets, and didn't have to resort to their usual bullshit, so that was nice.

Only old fat cheetos eating beer swilling losers year for mucked up fields. Current young athletic fans want to see athletes perform at the highest possible level.
Put down the cheetos and go work out you fat fucks.

 Mott, that was hilarious!!!

That statement coming from a fan of the team that was in a 3-way tie for the top of the Big 10. And one of the others in the 3-way tie had how many QBs knocked out of the game by the #4 team in the SEC?
