Tea Party move over? What the fuck are you talking about? The Tea Party is the group opposed to all of this governmental bullshit which has contributed to the unemployment!

Look, Don.... No offense, but you have to try and comprehend one small thing here... NO JOBS can be created with an anti-capitalist administration in the White House, promising to punish small business with higher taxes and more mandates... it just ain't going to happen in that environment... EVER! The ONLY way you can create jobs, is to ENCOURAGE capitalism, LOWER taxes, and remove the burdens to business, which will enable them to start hiring again. No one in their right mind is going to start hiring people, not knowing how much it will cost them in 2011, when the tax cuts expire, and with the added burden of providing health care coverage. Especially with the uncertainty in the economy, and our debt spiraling out of control as it is.

No... The Tea Party stands to gain a LOT of new support from these people who are smart enough to realize what is going on. The government passed a $785 billion "stimulus" bill, which was supposed to provide all of these "shovel ready jobs" and those have mysteriously never materialized. Nothing this administration has done, or will do, is going to bring new jobs! NOTHING!

The uncomfortable fact of the matter is, this administration is at the top of the list when it comes to lack of private sector experience. No other administration in history has lacked as much experience signing paychecks and operating a business. In fact, Kennedy's administration is the closest, with 38% of their administration having some private sector experience. Where is the Obama administration? How about 6%! They are made up of academia, pinheads who have never ran a business, and have no clue on how business even works, and most of them are devoutly anti-capitalist.

You want JOBS? Declare a ceasefire in your War on Business!

Gotta admit, we're more than halfway through the summer construction season when a lot of these stimulus supported jobs were supposed to show up - yet the only noticeable blip in UE figures came from the census project. That does not look good for this administration. Whether the 99ers join up with the TEA party or not (probably won't IMHO) they WILL likely be one more significant group in opposition to Obama's admin., and possibly against dems in general.

The dems' extending benefits to 90 weeks doesn't do a hell of a lot for the 99ers, though is probably appreciated by the less-than-90ers. OTOH most of those people want to WORK, not be stuck on the take. Somehow, despite the "republicans wanted to block us but we succeeded anyway" rhetoric, I do not think "Vote for us because we kept you on UE benefits" will cut it this November.

Kill the two posters above me, and all like them, and we shall never see unemployment like this again. Men like this do not deserve life. They are negative humanity, and killing them is like saving a good liberal soul.

Whether the 99ers join up with the TEA party or not (probably won't IMHO)

Yeah, they'll probably all decide to throw their vote away on the Libertarian candidate!

Where the fuck do you deduce they probably won't join the group who stands the best chance at derailing the Obama Express? Seems to me, that would logically be where they end up, whether they 'identify' as 'tea party' or not. Let's get something clear here, the left is going to continue their public opinion assault on the tea party as an organization, and nitwit fools like you and Damo will never bring yourselves to say you support them, but you will all vote for the same person they support, if you don't want 4 more years of Obama. To be perfectly honest, I don't care how many people "SAY" they belong to the tea party! Doesn't matter one whit to me! All that matters is how they vote when they pull that curtain in November.

My brother is a "99er". He is also a TEA Party supporter; a conservative; a registered voter and a man ready to help create change via the ballot box.

Try not to imitate trolls. And do work on your reading comprehension.

No where did I say 99ers would somehow end up working at cross purposes to the TEA party movement. I simply stated they would remain their own interest group instead of identifying themselves as TEA party. Remember what TEA stands for? These people's primary concern is being unemployed and being betrayed by an administration whose policy is ultimately keeping them unemployed while bribing them with more UE benefit. Their issue has nothing to do with taxes, and therefore they have no reason to identify themselves with a group whose primary issue IS taxes.

Does that mean they're going to work against TEA party goals? No. What it DOES mean is there looks to be another significant movement in the process of organizing against Obama. For those of us not wishing another 4 years, plus the hope of a congress that has a better chance of keeping Obama's program under control, this is good news.

Nor have I said anywhere I myself refuse to identify with the TEA party. Where did you come up with that lie? I have attended multiple TEA party events in my area. I, in fact, consider myself a TEA party member since taxes IS a significant issue on my personal list of government problems.

You're as bad as AssHatZombie: if someone does not agree with your preconceptions 120%, you attack anything they say.

You know, I had to do some research on the whole capitalization thing "TEA" party, because at first, I didn't get it. My understanding was, the name was derived from the Boston Tea Party of historic fame. Then I discovered it was an acronym for "Taxed Enough Already" and I thought, oh... that's cute, nice play on words, etc. But here, it seems you are under the impression the only issue of the TP is taxation, and that is not my understanding from what all I have heard from the group. Are there TWO different groups? The TEA Party and the Tea Party? I am assuming they are all one group.

In any event, it doesn't matter if someone "identifies" as a TEA or Tea Party member, or even associates themselves with the group, the group is not important. It is the principles and ideals supported BY the group. The Liberals will continue to throw feces at The TEA Party, from now until November, and on up until 2012, we can expect that! The TEA Party is going to be castigated, maligned, ridiculed, scorned, slandered, and portrayed as a racist hate group, by everyone on the left, because that is their playbook! But the important thing is, they can't touch the principles and ideals. Those remain intact, and MILLIONS of Americans agree with those principles and ideas, regardless of how they identify or who they associate with.

Grim statistics, indeed!

The thing is there is no "one" group of the TEA party. That is why when the liberals try their stupid shit like calling for "the TEA party to denounce their racist elements" they only show themselves to be completely ignorant of what the TEA party movement really is. TEA party movement is exactly that: a movement. It is not a "group", as in a single organization with multiple chapters organizing under a central leadership. TEA is simply a banner under which groups of people all over the nation identify. Some groups are more organized than others. The group here in Bozeman is not so much, though we usually manage to put together marches to coincide with cross-nation efforts. Our primary (not once did I say only) issue is taxation. But, being there is no centralized organization, a group in one area may choose to focus on other issues, while a different group may hold themselves to the central issue for which TEA was named.

And yes, it does not matter in the end if there is some centralized organization or not. What matters is people grouping together to fight the continuous encroachment on our lives by government. As such, it does not matter if 99ers even speak to TEA party members. My point was and is the fact that the policies of the democrats is creating yet another significant group of people opposed to their agenda.

And while the TEA party ideal will come under continued attack by liberals and their pet media, denigrating the dissatisfaction of people who are out of work, many who have been for over a year, many of whom supported Obama's promise of hope and change, will not go over very well as a counter-campaign tactic. If the 99ers organize more fully, and if they do, indeed, ally themselves against the democrats, there is not a lot the dems can do about it but cry - which will be fun to watch.
