Grind - Poker

beefy i will play you 50nl hu cash, but not this weekend

we can also try to get a 6max game going if we find enough people

Based upon Beefy's history with gambling, I am guessing Grind shall emerge triumphant.

Poker isn't really gambling. There's an element of chance in an overall sport based in skill. Would you consider two football teams in a contest "gamblers", or two tennis players, golfers, swimmers.....etc?

That's why Bond claimed to play baccarat in the Fleming novels. He needed a card game (specifically one associated with class and upper society, I guess) that he considered not to require any skill or thought involved.

I think, despite his departure to poker for the purposes of Casino Royale, that he is starting to play blackjack now to appeal to modern audiences, but I'm not sure if that's the case...

Bond has been a pussy since Roger Moore departed. Don't even compare post-Moore "Bonds" to poker.

Well that depends Beefy. Normally I would agree with you but based on your past record I'd say in your case poker would be gambling. :pke:

or are they playing to American audiences? Chemin de fer is still one of the more popular casino games in Europe.
