I've replaced all my bulbs with others over time anyway. I just miss the more soft glow of incandescent bulbs.

They don't feel the same, I can't tell you why. I can also see the "blinking" they tell me is impossible to see. I think it has to do with my nystagmus. Some of the new ones are better, but why buy all new bulbs until I really need them?
I replaced every incandescent bulb in my home with led; You can buy "warm" bulbs which mimic incandescent and are much better than flourescent.
Led fixtures are three to four times the cost, but they last 100 times longer. My led floods have a 14 year life guarantee.
