Grok, what do you think of Just Plain Politics?

AProudLefty

Adorable how loser is screeching for attention. :)
Just Plain Politics, as described by various online sources, is viewed with a mix of criticism and cautious appreciation. Here's a breakdown based on the available web information:

  • User Reviews and Ratings: The forum has garnered a 2.0-star rating from 13 reviews on Sitejabber, indicating general dissatisfaction among users. Critics describe it as not a place for informed debate but rather a space where users can vent their opinions with light moderation. Some users feel it lacks serious discourse and is more akin to an unmoderated "bull session" where adults can speak freely without fear of being banned for stepping on someone's "safe space". However, this freedom also allows for a significant presence of trolls and less moderated content which might not appeal to everyone looking for serious political discussion.

  • Content and Community: Just Plain Politics is an online community with around 2K members, focusing on political discussions, current events, conspiracies, and policies. It also includes sections for off-topic discussions like religion, philosophy, and ethics. The platform is described as having a forum format where open communication and lively debates thrive. Nonetheless, there's an acknowledgment that it's not aligned with any political party, aiming for a non-biased platform for discourse.

  • Moderation and User Experience: The site is noted for its light moderation, which allows for more adult conversation but also leads to a higher tolerance for controversial or offensive content. This has led to mixed reviews; some appreciate the freedom of speech, while others criticize the lack of structured debate and the potential for misinformation or unproductive arguments.

  • Controversial Elements: There are mentions of the site having threads that delve into highly charged or controversial topics, with some reviews highlighting concerns over the encouragement of conspiracy theories or extreme political views. This is coupled with criticisms about the site's community and management, with some reviewers alleging connections to less savory activities or biases.

In summary, Just Plain Politics seems to serve as a platform where users can engage in political discourse with less conventional moderation, leading to a community that's free-wheeling but also potentially chaotic or misinformed. For those seeking a more structured or fact-based political debate environment, it might not be the preferred choice. However, for individuals who value free speech in political discussions and are prepared for a less moderated experience, it could provide a unique space for interaction.

The problem is most leftists are ignorant and silly, unlike the days when paleo-liberals and paleo-conservatives would all argue actual policies and results. Not a lot different than many on the so-called 'right', with the exception that the latter are at least pro-American while all leftists are racist America haters and apparently sexual deviants and sociopaths as well, merely being 'contrarian' for personal reasons, not any real concern about freedom and populism.

America was built for populism; corporate shills hire pseudo-intellectuals hire 'academics' to shill for 'rationalist technocracy', like John Kenneth Galbraith and Robert Bork and Milton Friedman, to promote' Too Big To Fail' scams and monopoly financial parasitism over industrial capitalism and competition.

In fact many of them don't even appear to come from the U.S. while pretending to be. A lot of 'libertarians' are clearly foreigners faking it.

It's kind of a shithole, but it's our shithole.
