I stumbled onto a test for this website with free music.
I made a page for us to play with. Some of the songs I listed on the page work. Cut and paste into input and hit search.

Try the Joe Sample. My favorite song is Clifton's Gold. I sometimes listen to that song 4 or 5 times in a row. I think it's awesome. Too bad that soulfully creole doesn't have a listing. that's another great piece of music.

Also try Black and white (as simple as) and hippies on a corner. If you've never heard of Joe Sample, you're in for a treat.

Universal Music Group filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against Grooveshark in January 2010.

This lawsuit isbelieved to have been the cause of Apple's pulling the Grooveshark application from iPhone in August 2010.

In March 2010, Pink Floyd sued EMI over the amount of royalties the band should receive for digital sales of their music, and as to whether tracks from their concept albums can be sold as singles.

Pink Floyd won, and almost all of their tracks have been removed from Grooveshark.

Song that haven't been uploaded by their creator onto Grooveshark aren't legal, but you aren't going to be held liable for using them. You may as well benefit from it before they're sued into oblivion.

So what happened to the link? As far as I understand it these people have legitimized themselves. There's just certain music they can't list, like Pink Floyd....

Come to think of it. Without Pink Floyd I may not need it!
