Gunfire erupts at urban school
Gunfire at Carver High School was first reported around 2:30 p.m. EDT, and more than 30 police officers responded, local television station WXII reported.
More than 700 students from grades 9 through 12 attend Carver, which is located near downtown Winston-Salem.
