I just heard on the News that the Attackers were dressed as US DEA Agents and spoke English and Spanish. The 'other country on Hispaniola' speaks Spanish and isn't that 'close' to Haiti. Makes one wonder if the Dominicans had anything to do with it?

Honestly, if you're the DR, the most you can hope for is a stable Haiti. Engaging in a political assassination is one way to undermine stability.

I don't know that much about the region other than; Haiti is a ShitHole and the Dominican Republic is a Tourist destination. (?)

It's one of those problems the US is not going to be able to solve. We are already the world's number one donators to Haiti, and even that may have to come to an end now!

With all the "We Hate White People" going on, it's probably better that we stay out of it. Any thing less than a perfect outcome would only breed more "It's the White People" coming out of TTQ. :(
