My eyeball estimate is that the Gaza Strip is at least 70 to 80 percent open lands and agricultural fields.

There is no reason for Hama soldiers to hide among civilian urban populations. Unless their goal is to use civilians as human shields.

In 1939, in 1950, and in 2022 the Polish, South Korean, and Ukrainian armed forces deployed in the field of battle and tried to keep the enemy away from their civilian populations, despite the Poles, S. Koreans, and Ukrainians being significantly outnumbered and outgunned by the enemy.
