Happy Columbus Day !!

Wait a minute, so now you are concurring that salmon caught in warm water are superior to others? Funny, I can’t recall ever seeing Salmon from Florida on a restaurant menu anywhere in the country
Neither I or FastLane mentioned salmon, anchovies .
Poor anchovies.

Well, not true, “Catfish and trout and tilapia and salmon,” few posts above

And I never said one couldn’t catch all types of fish, you can do that anywhere, but that warm water fish are generally tasteless and too mild, why you’ll often see them served with toppings or excess butter

My only complaint about Alaska seafood is the lack of variety.
We cook it with various sauces, including butter.
Silver salmon is my favorite and you don’t see that much of it.
Halibut is very difficult to cook right.
I’ve had to send it back more than once at “good “ restaurants
