I suppose it all has to do with the reason(s) why one is engaging in either of the aforementioned activities to begin with.

One can drink to socialize and relax with friends, or one can drink to get hammered and mentally oblivious to the world.

Likewise, one can have sex with a male for the purpose of having whichever orifice they're getting fucked in, stretched as wide as possible, or for the purpose of expressing genuine affection through a physical act.

All depends on one's perspective, I guess.
