Have you ever witnessed an act of white racism against a black person in this country

Here's one my friend posted on Facebook today:

""I just got pulled over for stopping my vehicle in traffic. In a FUCKIN GARBAGE TRUCK! What the fuck am I supposed to do? How else am I gonna get these loaded garbage cans? Dude gave me my license back as soon as he saw me taking pictures too. The Wayniac was Trayvon today.""

are you saying that there has never been an instance of black people racially discriminating against white people?

Who said that?

Happens a lot less often than v.v., and has less effect - i.e. very few black people are in a position to refuse to hire whites, to serve whites, etc. When you're not in power, discrimination isn't as devastating. But sure, it happens.

Wasn't the Op though.

that's why I asked. she worded her topic title very confusingly. I wanted to understand what it was she was getting at.

do you think it ever happens?

Not personally, no. There are no black people in the area of mass where I live. The town where I grew up was 96.5% white. (i'm not exaggerating, that's the wikipedia demographic info) It's pretty much the same where I am now and the other surrounding towns as well.

We only had two black kids in our entire school (out of 1000) when I was younger. Franklin and Anthony. Didn't even know them, but I know their names even all these years later lol.

Yes, just a few years ago I witnessed a white woman at the post office having a huge fit because she could not find a white clerk to help her. She was very vocal about it and berated the black clerk who was trying to help her.

IN College, in Alabama, I watched as people argued to exclude black people from a fraternity as they did not believe the frat should admit black members.

My grandparents had a defiant measure for how you treat black people v. white people.

do you think it ever happens?

Yes, absolutely.

One of my experiences was going to a jewelry store with a black GF and the clerk wouldn't wait on her. She kept walking by us to help people who came in after us.

I even saw it in my church and also in the workplace.

I didn't bother listing some of the things I've seen; just not worth it. Those of us who haven't lived in a lily-white world have seen it.

What about in Zimbabwe, where all the white farmers were killed and the women raped by Mugabe's henchmen?
